On the Edge of the Promise

New year... new beginnings. It seems everyone is thinking of a year full of promise in this season. Wouldn't it be great if God had a promise waiting for you. Fear Not — Christmas Eve 2017

A short (well, for Pastor Grice, anyway) sermon talking about the famous meeting between the shepherds watching the sheep, and Heaven’s designated flash mob of Angels. There is a lot going on in that phrase: “Fear Not!”

Jesus Matters

We're getting ready to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Everyone knows the story. Little Baby Jesus. Three Kings. A Manger. Sheep. (Lots and lots of sheep). What's the big deal? By January 1st most people in our country have forgotten all of it. (Sometimes, judging from how people are honking at cars in the parking lot while leaving Christmas Eve services, it doesn't even take that long.) Does any of it matter? Really?
