How many times have you thought: "If I just knew what God wanted me to do, I'd do it!" It isn't that we don't want to follow God's guidance, it's that we can't hear His voice. On the 60th Anniversary of our National Motto, we start a special Series looking at this common phrase: "In God We Trust." What exactly does that mean to us? What did it mean to the Founding Fathers who thought so highly of it that they made it the National Motto. Can we trust in God for anything? Freedom. It has so many different meanings. Most Americans agree that the ultimate definition is found in the declaration of Independence: "Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness." We all sin. But we are all forgiven. Jesus died once for all sin. Does that mean that once we are saved, we can do whatever we want, and God’s Grace just keeps fixing things for us, as though the sin never happened? Not exactly.
